Notarizations
legal protection of authenticity for any document
What is “notarization”?
Notarization is the process that assures the parties of a transaction that a document is authentic, and can be trusted. It is a three-part process, performed by a Notary Public, that includes vetting, certifying and record-keeping. A document that has been notarized is marked with a notary seal, which indicates that the signature on the document is legitimate. Upon notarization, a Notary watches you sign a document, and then places the seal near your signature.
